Welcome to Dermatology Clinics Australia.

By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Appointments and Consultations

  • Consultations: We kindly request a $100 deposit to secure your appointment. If you have not already made payment for this with our team via phone, you may contact us on 07 3088 6999 to arrange this. Please note, we require payment one week prior to the appointment in order to hold the booked time and 24hrs notice is required for cancellation / rescheduling of your appointment, or your deposit will be held as payment.
  • Confirmation: Once you have booked an appointment with us, you will receive a confirmation via SMS, followed by a reminder message three days prior to your scheduled time.
  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance, so we can offer your appointment to another patient. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of any pre-paid fees (see section 3 below).
  • Arrival: Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time to complete any necessary paperwork. Late arrivals may result in a shortened consultation or rescheduling.
  • Procedures – Quotes for procedures are an estimate only and may be subject to variation. Pricing is valid for 6 months from the date of issue. It is the patient’s responsibility to confirm with Medicare and/or health insurance fund the level of cover that they hold and rebates they will receive.  It is the patient’s responsibility to pay the clinic in full for treatment. Payment for all treatments with an estimate of $500 or more must be finalised a minimum of14 days prior to treatment. If full payment is not received 14 days prior to treatment, it will be cancelled and rescheduled for a future date. Dermatology Clinics Australia reserve the right to allocate that time to another patient. All deposits/payments are refundable up to 14 days prior to treatment. If the procedure is cancelled within 14 days of treatment, no refunds will be made unless the treatment is unable to proceed due to medical reasons.

2. Cancellations and No-Shows

  • Notice: We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. 
  • Fees: For cancelled /rescheduled consultations made within 24 hours of the consult time or failure to attend an appointment, your $100 deposit will be non-refundable.
  • Prepaid Treatments: Payment for all treatments must be finalised a minimum of 14 days prior to treatment. If full payment is not received 14 days prior to my treatment, it will be cancelled and rescheduled for a future date and we reserve the right to allocate that time to another patient. All deposits/payments are refundable up to 14 days prior to treatment. If the procedure is cancelled within 14 days of treatment, no refunds will be made unless the treatment is unable to proceed due to medical reasons. There may be possible further costs for additional treatments, but immediate follow up care until healing for this procedure is complete is included in the cost of the treatment.

3. Payments and Billing

  • Fees: Consultation and treatment fees are provided by our administration team upon booking. 
  • We kindly request a $100 deposit to secure your appointment.
  • The cost of procedures will be as per the quote provided. The quoted pricing is valid for 6 months from the date of issue. 
  • Methods: We accept cash, EFTPOS, bank transfers and all major credit cards.

  • Medicare and DVA: Eligible services may be claimed through Medicare or the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) with appropriate referrals.

4. Privacy and Confidentiality

  • Data Collection: We collect personal information to provide you with appropriate care.
  • Use of Information: Your information is used solely for treatment purposes and administrative functions.
  • Disclosure: We do not disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
  • Security: We implement appropriate measures to protect your data.

5. Website Use

  • Content: The content on our website is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice.
  • Links: Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these sites.
