Learn Our Advanced Approach to Vitiligo Care

What Causes Vitiligo?

Vitiligo is an autoimmune condition where the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks melanocytes-the cells responsible for skin pigment. This results in white patches of skin that can appear anywhere on the body, often progressing over time.

Triggers may include genetics, oxidative stress, or previous trauma to the skin. Our team provides early diagnosis, supportive treatment, and long-term monitoring to manage and minimise pigment loss.

Types of Vitiligo We Treat

We provide customised treatment pathways for all types of vitiligo:

Non-Segmental Vitiligo

The most common form, often appearing symmetrically on both sides of the body.

Segmental Vitiligo

Appears on one area of the body, often with earlier onset and faster progression.

Focal Vitiligo

Localised to one or a few small areas, usually stable.

Universal Vitiligo

Widespread pigment loss affecting over 80% of the body

Mixed Vitiligo

Combination of segmental and non-segmental patterns.

Our Vitiligo Treatment Options

We offer a full suite of surgical and non-surgical treatments:

Narrowband UVB Phototherapy

Whole-body or partial-body light treatment for widespread or generalised vitiligo.

Prescription Therapies

Includes corticosteroids, calcineurin inhibitors, and pigment-stimulating agents.

Skin Camouflage

Professional-grade cover-ups and micropigmentation for visible or treatment-resistant areas.

ReCell

Dr. Manoharan utilizes ReCell® (also known as autologous melanocyte/keratinocyte grafting) in his practice, specifically for treating Vitiligo utilizing melanocyte transplantation techniques.

Holistic Home Care Support

Integrative support programs to reduce inflammation and promote overall skin health.
