Patient FAQs

For medical dermatology appointments (e.g. skin cancer checks, acne, eczema, psoriasis), a referral from your GP is recommended to access Medicare rebates. However, you can still book without one.
For cosmetic or laser treatments, no referral is required. We offer a complimentary consult with one of our expert clinical team members who can understand your skin concerns and advise on next steps or treatment plans.
If you have a referral from your doctor, please email it to admin@dermatologyclinicsaustralia.com.au before your visit or bring it with you.
To save time upon your arrival, we kindly ask you to complete your new patient form ahead of your visit [Insert Link].If you would like to complete this in clinic, please arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment time to fill this out.

We offer appointments within 48 hours at many of our clinic locations, especially for urgent skin cancer or acne concerns. Our team will do their best to accommodate your preferred time and practitioner.

We’re located in the vibrant hub of Newstead at Level 1/19 Longland St. You’ll find us just opposite Total Fusion Platinum and Evra Restaurant.
Finding a park is convenient, with 2 hours free parking at Gasworks Shopping Centre, Newstead, approximately 50m easy walk to the practice
Metered street parking is also available and we are easily accessible by public transport.
