You may be eligible for a DVA-funded skin check if you:
– Hold a Gold or White (Skin) DVA Health Card
– Have a service-related condition or exposure
– Obtain a GP referral to a dermatologist
– Require skin cancer surveillance or management

What To Expect
Before Your Appointment:
– Ensure you have a current GP referral to Dermatology Clinics Australia
– Wear loose-fitting clothing and no makeup
– Bring your DVA Health Card and referral letter
During Your Skin Check:
– Your dermatologist will perform a thorough head-to-toe skin examination
– Suspicious moles or lesions may be photographed or biopsied
– You’ll be provided with education, prevention tips, and a personalised care
After Your Appointment:
– If needed, treatment or follow-up will be booked promptly
– Your GP and DVA file will be updated with detailed clinical notes
– You’ll have peace of mind knowing your skin is in expert hands
