Created by Dr Manoharan, this signature treatment combines multiple laser modalities in one powerful session to reverse visible signs of ageing and photodamage. It can only be performed safely by highly trained procedural specialist laser dermatologists.
The success of laser resurfacing largely depends on the experience and qualifications of the laser specialist. Dr Manoharan has been performing advanced laser resurfacing for almost 15 years and is one of Australia’s leading experts in the procedure.
He lectures nationally and internationally on his techniques, and is involved in training doctors, dermatologists and plastic surgeons on advanced laser resurfacing, through his training organisation, DermEd - www.dermed.com.au.
This high-intensity resurfacing treatment removes micro-columns of damaged skin, triggering deep collagen regeneration. It is ideal for deeper wrinkles, acne scarring, and coarse texture. Ablative lasers provide the most dramatic results but require more recovery time.
For patients needing less downtime, lighter fractional lasers deliver energy in a controlled, superficial pattern to smooth texture, refine pores, and brighten tone-perfect for early signs of ageing and maintenance treatments.
This component targets broken capillaries, redness, and flushing. By gently collapsing visible blood vessels, the vascular laser helps even out skin tone and reduce background redness, common in rosacea-prone or sun-damaged skin.
With ultra-short pulse technology, the picosecond laser shatters unwanted pigment and stimulates collagen with minimal thermal damage. It’s especially effective for pigment irregularities, fine lines, and skin rejuvenation on darker skin tones.
BBL is a powerful IPL device used to treat brown spots, sun damage, and uneven skin tone. It’s also known for its role in preventing future skin ageing through gene expression modulation-making it a key part of the 10 Year Flashback protocol.
Post-treatment, LED therapy accelerates healing, calms inflammation, and supports optimal collagen synthesis. It’s a gentle but important part of recovery, ensuring the skin regenerates quickly and comfortably.
Each 10 Year Flashback treatment is fully customised and performed with precision-guided by Dr. Manoharan’s protocol and executed by our specialist team to deliver transformative results safely.

Each protocol is tailored for your skin type, concerns, and recovery tolerance. There is no one-size-fits-all-and that’s exactly why results can be so significant.
Ablative laser resurfacing involves the use of gold-standard CO2 and Erbium:YAG lasers, usually in combination, to remove the outer layer of the skin, which is composed of damaged or compromised skin. This allows a fresh bed of new skin to regenerate and produce new collagen, resulting in a smoother and tighter complexion.
During the procedure, the patient is generally given light sedation or twilight anaesthetic. The laser is then passed over the skin in a controlled manner, removing the outer layer of skin cells. The heat from the laser also stimulates collagen production, which helps to firm and tighten the skin.
After the procedure, the patient will need to keep the treated area clean and moisturised to promote healing. They will be provided with an aftercare pack, scripts and growth factor serums. It is also important to avoid direct sunlight, keep well hydrated and rested during the first 1-2 weeks of healing.
