Appointment confirmation

You will receive an appointment confirmation via SMS, along with an SMS reminder 3 days prior to your appointment. If you need to reschedule, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your appointment to another patient.

Preparing for your appointment

To save time upon your arrival, we kindly ask you to complete your new patient registration form ahead of your visit and return it to us via email (admin@dermatologyclinics.com.au). 

If you would like to complete this in clinic, please arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment time to fill this out.

Some of our specialists also require to review photographs of your condition prior to confirming your appointment. If this is the case for your doctor, you will receive a message with a link for uploading photos from the clinic.

Fees & Payment

We kindly request a $100 deposit to secure your appointment. If you have not already made payment for this with our team via phone, you may contact us on 07 3088 6999 to arrange this. Please note, we require payment one week prior to the appointment in order to hold the booked time and 24hrs notice is required for cancellation / rescheduling of your appointment, or your deposit will be held as payment.

The cost of the consultation will vary depending on the type of appointment you have. The below fees are current at Feb 2026:

Dermatologist – Initial Consultation is $310 with a rebate of $86.16 for patients with a valid referral (not applicable for cosmetic consultations)

Dermatology Registrar – Initial Consultation is $225 with a rebate of $21 for patients with a valid referral (not applicable for cosmetic consultations)

Referrals

Referrals are encouraged but not required.

If you are visiting us for a medical concern, Medicare rebates will be processed if you bring a referral.

Referrals are valid only for 12months from use for a GP referral or 3 months from date of use for a specialist referral. Please note you will need to bring a new referral after these timeframes if you wish to continue to be eligible for a Medicare rebate.

Please email your referral to admin@dermatologyclinicsaustralia.com.au or bring it with you to your appointment.

We’re located in the vibrant hub of Newstead at Level 1/19 Longland St. You’ll find us just opposite Evra Restaurant.

Finding a park is convenient, with 2 hours free parking at Gasworks Shopping Centre, Newstead.

Metered street parking is also available and we are easily accessible by public transport.
